Sindhu Devi lives in Majhaua, Uttar Pradesh with her husband and their two children. Her husband is engaged in the purchasing of grains such as paddy and wheat and selling them in the local market, which supports the household income. Wanting to contribute further to the family’s financial stability, Sindhu Devi started a small sweet and tea stall in her village.

In August 2019, with the aim of managing her sweet and tea stall, she took her first loan of Rs. 30,000. She used this amount to purchase the necessary items for the stall such as utensils, raw materials, and basic equipment. Through her dedication and hard work, the stall began attracting local customers, allowing her to steadily grow the business. She successfully repaid the loan by January 2021.

Encouraged by the progress of her stall and the increasing demand from customers, Sindhu Devi decided to expand her business further. In January 2021, she took a second loan of Rs. 40,000. With this financial support, she was able to increase the variety of sweets and improve the quality of her tea stall setup. Her business continued to perform well, and she successfully completed the loan repayment by October 2022.

In October 2022, she took her third loan to further develop the sweet and tea stall and continue supporting her family's needs. With consistent effort and proper financial management, she successfully repaid this loan by March 2024.

Following this achievement, Sindhu Devi took a fourth loan of Rs. 1,25,000 to expand her business even further. She is now working towards scaling up her stall, adding new products, and strengthening her income.

Today, Sindhu Devi’s journey reflects her determination and commitment to improving her family’s livelihood. She took a loan from Sindhuja, which gave her the opportunity to start and grow her small business. By using this financial support wisely and putting in consistent effort, she has been able to sustain her business while also taking care of her family. Her story is a motivating example of how the right financial support, combined with hard work, can create better opportunities and a more secure future.
